Scheme Implementation
- Undertaking feasibility studies of problems or schemes and preparation of written reports.
- Carrying out any necessary site surveys.
- Undertaking the full design of schemes to agreed specifications.
- Carrying out negotiations for planning permission and building regulations approvals.
- Negotiations with the Environment Agency (or other regulatory bodies) for effluent consents.
- Negotiations with landowners or Local Authorities for wayleaves or land purchase.
- Negotiations with public utilities for the provision for services.
- Preparation of specifications for mechanical and electrical plant as well as all civil engineering / building works.
- Obtaining competitive tenders for all of the above works.
- Undertaking HAZOPS and Health & Safety assessments of works planned.
- Supervision of contracts utilising standard programme management expertise with regular site meetings and assessments of progress.
- Undertaking valuations of work carried out and certification of contracts.
- Carrying out the full commissioning of works.
- Preparation of Final Certification and record drawings of schemes.
- Undertaking supervision of maintenance period of contract.
- Preparation of Operation & Maintenance manuals
The practice also regularly undertakes assessments of all plant and equipment available on the market, to be able to advise clients on all aspects of their suitability.
